Line weight

I cannot get my true line weights to appear in my layout
I have set the line weight to true weight and saved it as a drafting copy and the true line weights show in archicad but not plotmaker why is this?

There are three types of Pen Settings (Line weights):
1) For Model View
2) For Layout Views
3) Per Drawing

To troubleshoot first check #2 by going to the menu ->Options -> Element Attributes -> Pens & Colors (Layout Views).

Then select a drawing and check what Pen Setting it has.

unfortunately i have to mention that i am working in version 9 still so the pull down tree menu you broke down for me is not the same I
and I am not sure where the element attributes would be
there are some under the drawings settings but...

never mind i found it it in options/ display options/ line weight/ true weight

That is the reason that it is recommended to list your AC version and operating system as part of your signature. That can avoid wasted time on a sunday night.
