trimming wall in 2d?

can anyone tell me what im doing wrong. i want to trim a wall in 2d on an angle but it will only trim it straight. its driving me nuts. cheers

Use the Wall End Tool>Wall End Chamfer 14 object.

That would be a cool feature if you could split a wall on an angle. I think the Objective add-on by Ralph Wessel might do that.

A quick-and-dirty way of doing this is to: (see figure)
1. create a segment of the wall at the angle you want
2. select that segment and make it as thin as possible

Or you can use the Polygonal Wall to make the Wall End.
Whichever of these choices fits you best.
