Yes, I had managed to append and duplicate the city in the same way.

Bing Maps provides the Latitude and Longitude
Wikipedia provides the elevation and Time Zones
Also Noaa.gov has additional information on Time Zones.

To go down to the specific project I create a "Project Location" instead of the City, so the information the program gets is more accurate.

Thank you.

<T>Hello all,

Does anyone know how to create a new "City" for the Project Location data, there are several cities already predefined, how do we create a new city and import that into Archicad?

Currently I use "Bing" Maps to obtain the coordinates and I enter this into the Lat, Long fields, then, I use Wikipedia to obtain the "elevation" from whatever City I'm working on, and enter that too.

However, Creating a .aat file for the overall City or individual project can help for future projects.

Thanks.</T>

1) In attribute manager select any city and append it from the left to the right column.
2) In the right column, now use append to recopy that city back to the left hand column.
3) You will find a new city (2) at the bottom of the list,in my example Boston(2).
4) Below the bottom of the left hand column you can now edit this copied city as any name and coordinates you want.
Of course apply and save everything, then save as an .AAT file for safe keeping.
