<T>Am trying to teach myself the guide line system......now am wondering why the blue multichoice guidelines always terminates at the project origin. No matter where I click along an element to start it, the line always shoots accross the work space to the project origin. Irritating.

Also, the nice x and y guidelines with the x and y notation and angles don't show up like they do in the tutorials.</T>

Have you watched the videos about Guide Lines on the GS YouTube Channel?
They explain pretty much all aspects of Guide Lines:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlmcQfog ... sults_main">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlmcQfoglB0&feature=BFa&list=PL2C6FA43216942F54&lf=results_main</LINK_TEXT>

Or here is Eric Bobrow's video about AC15 Guide Lines:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E99TsG6jJ1E

Yeah, watched them all. Problem was that multichoice lines and x and y axis lines were not showing up. Called tech support....they suggested I "clean preferences" as described in ArchCAdiwiki. Once I did that, everything showed up.
Apparently, something got screwed up during migration from AC 14. Was happy they were able to resolve the problem.
