topic Save Building as Module or Object for Import . . . in Modeling

<T>I would like to being in a house model into another model so we can line them up and see them together.

When I bring it in as a module I get all of its layers and building materials and everything - that I don't want.

When I save it as an object and bring it in I get all kinds of errors saying that things were not saved properly.

How do you guys go about handling this kind of situation?
Is there a better way?
Going between 2 ArchiCAD files we typically use MODs and yes MODs will bring with them all used attributes of the source file - thus it is crucial that both use the same attribute set... is cleaning up your source file an option?
