Quicktime error message when running Archicad

I am trying to run the Archicad 12 Internationall on my new PC, but somehow I can not do it. I install it with no problem, and when I try to run it, this is what I get:

Sorry Archicad can not run on your computer

Problem:           QuickTime is outdated or missing.

ArchiCAD requires QuickTime 7.0 or later, image compressors and
decompressors.
Make sure you have QuickTime installed with the "Recommended"
option chosen at installation and not with the minimal option selected.
Uninstall QT then reinstall it with the recommended option selected.

The problem is that I already have Quicktime 7 installed on my PC.

But nevermind I got back to my DVD, and installed the Quicktime from the System components category.

And after this, I am still getting the same message like the one above.

How can I solve this?

Make sure you un-install quicktime fully before installing the version form the disc.

AC14 install problems

You could also try disabling your anti-virus temporarily when installing.

thank you for the advices.
I succeeded in installing - like you said, I needed to uninstall all the Quicktime versions first, and Apple Upload software, and then I tried installing the Quicktime from the Archicad DVD.
And it worked !
