AC12 model turns intself into wireframe

On a recent model, it has turned itself into wireframe when viewed in 3d on AC12 edu. This has occured on other projects before, when using version 10,11 but this is the first time that I have experienced this in v12.

I have gone through my settings and cannot seem to find anything that would indicate why it is being viewed like this. I have also ensured archicad and my graphics card drivers are upto date, though this error does not coincide with any updates.

Does anyone know how I could rectify this? Thanks.

Just to be sure, I assume that you have checked the following.
Check your layer settings to see if they are set for wire frame and check your rendering engine settings.
