AC13 roof edge tool

AC13's roof edge tool gives you the option of choosing an edge type. Ridge, valley, gable, hip, eaves, etc. Does anyone know the purpose for this?

It is my understanding that the setting (essentially a tag) can be read by structural design/analysis software if the export/import mechanism supports it.

It looks like you can schedule the total length of each 'class' of roof edge.

That could be a quite handy piece of info for GC bidder/roofer and "Tin_man" if that's not handled by roofer.
I'll have to check that out.

Just got fancy antigreen box today.
Seems to me a manual would be greener since at least I could use that!
