      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Hi I have question how i can remove(subtract) part of wall as the one in elevation can i do it in elevation mode and results do the same in 3d&lt;BR /&gt;
second, what is the best way to do it accurately to match  the elevation drawing&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Right. Put the opening on the corner. Easiest solution.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Another way is to use Solid Element Operation with a cylinder or other object as the Operator.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
OR, set up a custom profile beam in a wireframe layer to intersect with the wall. By adjusting layer and wall priorities, the beam will cut the wall.</description>

      <description>yes i will try the first and second solution but actually because i am not very advanced user i can not understand third solution(profile beam) ,by the way thank you very much for quick response</description>

      <description>Thanks Rod Jurich for your clarification about black background i think i like it in 2d environment only because i get to use it in autocad 2d environment before so that is the reason but in 3d it does not matter.</description>
