Create stair using selection

Hi,
I have just tried to creat a stair using selection, followed all the steps with no error messages i.e fill, line to show direction of travel, selection of two elements, create stair, saved, hit Ok.....nothing happened - however I can see the stair in library manger and all layers are visable. Does anyone know what might be causing this? thanx

May be a silly question, but did you try placing the stair from the library?

Richard & t.,

The help files date from version 10, when placing the part was not required.
The stair used to just be there upon hitting the final OK button.
It would be nice if GS updated the help files to reflect the current state of the program.
Tough to follow instructions to the letter only to find they are not correct.

thanks guys, im very new to this program, yes you have to place the stair after creating it.
