&lt;BR /&gt;
The help files date from version 10, when placing the part was not required.   &lt;BR /&gt;
The stair used to just be there upon hitting the final OK button.  &lt;BR /&gt;
It would be nice if GS updated the help files to reflect the current state of the program.  &lt;BR /&gt;
Tough to follow instructions to the letter only to find they are not correct.&lt;BR /&gt;

I have just tried to creat a stair using selection, followed all the steps with no error messages i.e fill, line to show direction of travel, selection of two elements, create stair, saved, hit Ok.....nothing happened - however I can see the stair in library manger and all layers are visable. Does anyone know what might be causing this? thanx&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>May be a silly question, but did you try placing the stair from the library?</description>
