<T>I want to make a composite wall with 19 centimeters in width, and 1.5 centimeters in covering on both end of the wall.
Is this possible in Archicad ? It seems a 0.5 can not be entered as the thickness, only round numbers. Right?

thank you for the reply.</T>

What tolerances/accuracies have you set for working units? I work in mm - there's no problem entering 0.5.

Thank you for the reply. Both of you.
I am working with cm (centimeters).

My problem was, that I needed to set 1 Decimal in the Working Units (both for Model and Layout units)
Now I can enter .5 as a layer thickness into the Composite structures. Andro this is very strange, maybe we are using different types of Archicad 14. At my place I can enter numbers with .5 but not with ,5

Now I am interested in new problem: Why Dimension tool does not show the exact value of mortar thickness? The thickness is 1.5 cm, but when I add a dimension marks on my wall, the value varies to 1.5 +- 0.10. Why is that?
Take a look at the video, maybe it will be more clear:
Erwin I did not understand you.
By "rounding up" you meant: "Extra accuracy"? But that is not what I need. Extra accuracy adds more accuracy to the value.

Sandro I did not understand you eaither. Archicad does not allow usage of "dot" and "comma", but windows does?

Sorry for inconvenience. I do not wish to sound rude or arrogant, it`s just I did not understand.

Thank you Dwight. Now I understand what Andro said: If I am going to use the "dot" or "comma" separator as a decimal sign, this depends on the Windows Regional Customizer in Windows Control Panel. Not on Archicad.
Right?
