Elevate Mesh Point-remembering command in pet palette

I am running ArchiCad V17 now. In previous versions the mesh pet palette would "remember" the last tool I used. I am elevating many mesh points, creating a site model from topography, and the extra mouse click is a pain...anyone know where I can change this preference so the pet palette pops up with the elevate mesh point already selected??

I think this was already reported as a bug.
