      <description>A complex profile only extrudes in the direction of the wall length - so only horizontal details.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Vertical extrusions require various tricks.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you are trying to do battens, see James Murray's free Batten object here:&lt;BR /&gt;

You can also model the vertical elements with profiled columns (but have to cut/adjust them around windows/doors).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Another option is to create a 3D cutting pattern using Trussmaker or other tools and then use a Solid Element operation to subtract this from the wall, creating a pattern of reveals.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
CadImage has an add-on that lets you create custom claddings, including those with vertical elements:&lt;BR /&gt;
