Instead of making your profile as a full cross section use a half cross section and then draw it as the four separate sides (you may need to use a slab for the flat top section). Then save this as an object.

<T>I'm trying to create a deeply profiled 2' x 2' ceiling tile in Archicad. Is there a way of making a revolved shape rather than an extrusion (complex profile)? I'm able to make the tile in one direction but this obviously doesn't make the tile that I'm after.

Any ideas?

Thanks,</T>

You can also use the sometimes-forgotten "Profiler" Add-On that is/was part of the old "Goodies" collection.
