topic cant rotate skylight? in Modeling

cant rotate skylight?

when putting skylights in on my roof i am unable to rotate them. i can only move them in 3d mode and not rotate them, the same in plan view but i cant do anything here - cant even select them they just show up as a hole in the roof

ahh, now i can move them in both 3d and plan, but still when i go to rotate i specify 90 degrees but it just stays the same

This may be something peculiar to the skylight you are using. It may be written to orient itself to the roof slope. I have created some "skylights" to use as fixtures in suspended ceilings and had no trouble rotating them at all.

I believe this is the case with most (if not all) AC skylight objects.

If it is 1x3m sloping down the roof (as it always will) make it 3x1m.
