I have noticed the same behavior. If you create a complex profile using arcs, create a wall using the complex profile, cut a section through the wall. Try adding a radial dimension to the curve generated by the cut through the complex profile. You can't because there is no curve there! It's tesselated. This is a result of the outdated AC geometry engine. This is why vectorworks has licensed parasolid and ghery is built on catia.

<T>I HAVE BEEN DRAWING CURVES IN MY CUSTOM PROFILER, BUT THEY SHOW UP AS ANGLES IN MY MODEL/SECTION/PLAN ETC.
IS THERE A SETTING SOMEWHERE I NEED TO BE CHANGING?</T>

By "CUSTOM PROFILER" do you mean the Profiler add-on or
do you mean complex profiles ? I ask because they behave
differently . I have noticed that complex profiles show a joint
or angle even though the tangent arc and line is perfect where as
Profiler shows no angle made with the exact same polygon.
