thank you for reply Dwight.

I am doing what you say. Clicking on the lines, and i also get the infobox "new mesh points", and then I choose "fit to user ridges" and OK.
But nothing happens.

I found this thread: <LINK_TEXT text="http://195.144.20.106/viewtopic.php?pri ... e09025cfba">http://195.144.20.106/viewtopic.php?printertopic=1&t=7553&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&vote=viewresult&sid=7cde5a191fc9db536d3e27e09025cfba</LINK_TEXT>

My refference is an autocad DWG file. How can I make these lines into splines?
If that is the case...

<T>Hi,

I have a mesh over a map refference. I have the mesh and the mesh tool selected, and the polygon style. When I try to use the magic wand, it is working as normal. I use space to activate magic wand, and it snaps to the refference. I click, and get the option of making new points. But when I click ok now, nothing happens. I tried several different ways to do it, but always the same result.

Am I doing something wrong?

I found out of it.
Previousely I had used the option "place external drawing" on the dwg file.
But when I used "attach Xref" it worked great.
