<T>Is there any way to create a group, copy it multiple times, then edit only one instance, with the result being that all instances of the group change or are updated? I know Revit has a similar function to what I am describing, but I need to know if Archicad 17 has it too? And Hotlinking is not what I had in mind.

Thanks all !</T>

Still hotlinked modules do excactly what you describe.

Select module, edit it, save changes and update modules.

Yes, but I have read that hot linked files only show floor plans - I can't use sections or elevations with them. Or so i understood?
You can do anything you like with modules, you can make sections on them, you can make elevations, you can copy, move, rotate them...Anything you like BUT

You must use one instance of archicad to edit module and second to work on your project !

i hope this helps
