You must save the trimmed element as an object.

The new object is independent of the operator but cannot be edited further.

Create a special layer pair to keep the SEO elements made this way to simplify future editing.

<T>I use this tool quite often, especially when I need to extrude complicated volumes. The only problem I've got is that target elements remain extruded only as long as the operator stays in his place. After I move it or delete it, the target element changes to the initial volume, before the extrusion.

Do you have any idea how could I keep the target element extruded, and also delete the operator? Or move it to some other position? (in my last project, the solids I'm using are Mesh elements)</T>
