Hi Ralph,

Can you advise us as to how to remove or disable the plug-in? Under /Library/Spotlight I see "Graphisoft.mdimporter" ... but it's dated September 2009 and the exec inside is dated 2007. Under /Library/QuickLook I see "GSQuickLook.glgenerator" which caused one crash here ...and the exec in side is dated 2013 although the container is dated 2011.

Thanks!
We are looking for the answer to this as well. We are operating Archicad 17 and would like to upgrade to Mavericks as soon as possible, especially because Apple is offering the upgrade FOR FREE!! Who knows how long that will last?

So far, I have only heard that AC 16 will not display the 3d model in 3d View in Mavericks. So....

I don't know if this is a standard install or not, but the plugin at /Library/Spotlight/GSMDimporter.mdimporter was crashing repeatedly (and frequently). I removed it by simply deleting it (with Admin name/password). I spotted it because my crash logs were flooded with the following:

Thanks, Ralph. I see that one too now. The Graphisoft.mdimporter must be an old one.

Interestingly, I haven't had any spotlight crashes, but do get a Quicklook crash every time I click on a PLN with a preview panel open in Finder:
Just deleting the GSQuickLook.glgenerator file in /Library/QuickLook similar to your advice for spotlight resolved that one. Not sure why I haven't run into the Spotlight crash yet...?

Thanks!
