Do you mean like what I have shown in my previous post or something else? I am not understanding. I thought you wanted the profile you have shown to be rotated 90 degrees up and this is what I have shown. Perhaps you could post a sketch of what you desire.

The orientation will all depend on the profile you draw in the profile manager. If you draw it "perpendicular to the floor" in the profile manager, then the wall will follow that shape.

<T>How can I set a trapezoidal profile as wall? I've made it already in the profile manager. Is there a way to set the profile upright?</T>

After you have drawn your profile, click "Store Profile" in the profile manager and make sure the button "Use with: Wall" is checked. Also, make sure you used the Fill tool to either draw or magic wand the profile you have drawn. Lines and arcs are a good for tracing, but a profile they do not make.

Now activate your wall tool and in either the settings or Info toolbar (Info toolbar shown) set the Wall Complexity to complex and then choose the profile you created. Then draw the wall in plan or 3D.

Can you post a picture of the profile in the profile manager? I was able to create it verticallly with no problem. Here is my take on it:

Okay, S2art seems to be on the same though train as you and I think I understand now.

Yes use the column tool as he said, or you could just use the plain wall tool with no complex profile and model very skinny walls.

When I use the Column tool, there's no possibility for placing windows or doors in the "wall".
