<T>I use the magic wand and the fill tool to fill in an area that I want to have siding on. Usually, the magic wand doesn't fill in areas that have borders. For some reason it's filling in the entire wall. I would like it to recognize there are windows in the wall and not fill inside the windows. BTW, there are no gaps in the linework for the windows. See picture.</T>

Hi Steven,
Why don't you apply a Surface with a vectorial hatch and make it visible in your Sections/Elevations instead?
So that you don't need to "draft" the fill?

Yes. I loved that table flip. Very funny

After you place the initial fill, select that fill and then with the space bar held down and the fill tool selected, click on the window edge and it should cut a hole around it. You probably knew that.

Slabs, Mesh, and Zones work the same way, even though you can make lines a zone boundary it does not recognize them.

I know what you mean about how it should work. I am not sure it works that way anymore. ? Didn't there used to be a line setting for border or boundary too?
