Placing objects (columns in this case) along a polyline

Hi all,

I am slightly puzzled how to complete a no doubt simple task on ArchiCAD.

I want to place numerous columns at 3m centres along a polyline. How can you achieve this?

yes, it is very easy. Use multiple copies command.

More important: you'll need to place guides on the polyline at 3m centers.

Set the distance parameter in the Control box dialog and get guides along the polyline.

You can use the Align and Distribute commands in the edit menu to achieve the same, using the Distribute command and special distribute will do the trick. The tutorial might help.
