Can't create stair on selection

Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom stair (slope) using the shape shown in the picture. but i can't, and instead I get this message (also in image)

Any idea why? cant figure this out...
I created the lines using a normal line and an arc line.

It worked, but with the shape I have, I can only select stairs, and not slopes... Is it possible to create slope from selection?

Yup, but it wont let me choose that to begin with...
It looks like i cant make slopes unless everything is straight/perpendicular....

Use a mesh for this.

Draw mesh wot match your required outlines and then elevate the points to the required levels, if you require appearance of a slab in section use the roof tool to create sloping slabs.
