Hotfix for ArchiCAD 13 and 14

Dear ArchiCAD-Talkers,

We have released Hotfixes today for both ArchiCAD 13 and 14. They are currently available for INT, USA and AUS language versions through the Help menu/Check for Updates... command. Other language versions will follow soon.

The ArchiCAD 13 Hotfix is build number 3826. Click here for the Release Notes
The ArchiCAD 14 Hotfix is build number 3269. Click here for the Release Notes

Both Hotfixes update the BIM Server as well as ArchiCAD. If you use Teamwork, you have to install the Hotfix(es) at the same time on the BIM server and all client computers.

Does this 3269 hotfix for AC14, include and supersede the IFC Add-On Hotfix Preview for ArchiCAD 14 – Build 3427 or do we need to install that separately (if it hasn't yet been installed)?

111491 DESIGN: Interior Elevation Ceiling Line is missing when slab is on story above.

This also needs fixing in ArchiCAD 14.

You have to install the IFC Hotfix 3427 separately. As the build number suggests, the IFC add-on special hotfix (3427) is actually a newer version than the one included in the general ArchiCAD Hotfix (3269). If you are a heavy IFC user, we do recommend to use the special IFC hotfix.

If you have already installed the IFC Hotfix Preview, and are about to install the general ArchiCAD Hotfix, you are all set - the generic hotfix (3269) will not overwrite the newer (3427) IFC Add-On.

Yes, it will come in the next ArchiCAD 14 Hotfix. We have not forgotten about it, just the ArchiCAD 14 Hotfix was actually compiled earlier than the ArchiCAD 13, and this fix was not ready yet.

the release notes says "all languages". So is it for all languages or not?

Philippe,

We have one Hotfix file for all languages, but we do test it separately for every language, that is why it is not released at the same time through "check for updates..." . As languages are tested, we make them available one by one.
