One option, can be messy and it might slow your computer down depending on the amount of nodes in the object
-----
Export from SU as 3DS.

Download the 3DS In plugin from GS site ( under Help -> Downloads)

Install the Plugin and use it to convert the mesh.

To edit the mesh you will either do it in SU and re-import it or use SEOs.
Importing mesh into AC 14 or 13

<T>Hello!

I have a really big issue... I need to create a very complex mesh, and it would save me a lot of time if I would be able to import it from google earth.. (I already have it imported in sketchup 8 ).
As I mentioned in the title, I have AC 13 or 14, both 64 bit, on a W7 OS, so there are no sketchup to archicad plugins as there were on the previous or 32bit versions.. so there is my dilemma.
I also noticed that AC 14 has a importing survey into mesh option, but I have no idea how I can create/get an xyz or txt for the site I need.
I would also like to mention that I have a DWG file of the site, with the level lines, but the problem is that the poly lines are very fragmented, and the site is quite large, so I can't possibly waste that much time creating mesh points from those fragmented lines, because it would take me forever.

A solution would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance!</T>

I find it is often fastest to just trace over the 2D DWG with lines and arcs (for the boundaries) and spline curves (for the contours) in ArchiCAD and use these to build the mesh.
