IMHO I think this is great software but as I wrote about on Linked-In, I hope they develop a native Mac version now that the company that owns it has 2 CAD programs which have Mac versions.

They have told me they were working on it but I am pretty sure it wasn't very hard as it has been years.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm not sure about how that would be a strategy to position Nemetschek in North America. But one thing is for sure, many ADSK clients use the Bluebeam add ins, like the Bluebeam add on for Revit, which pretty much mimics the Publisher in ArchiCAD ( but just for PDFs).

If anything it would get the attention of Vectorworks users... a lot more popular than ArchiCAD in this part of the world.

Let's see how that acquisition turns around.

It just makes me happy to see that it didn't go to Trimble or Autodesk. It's nice to see Nemetschek scooping up some good properties.

Bluebeam is terrific. It is probably my most used software. I'm sure it is a great acquisition for Nemetschek.

How the companies leverage each other's markets is not entirely clear to me at the moment.
