Yes guys, I mean overlapping.
I can't find the "check duplicate" in Edit Menu though. I am using Arc 16 nowadays.

not sure if this is exactly what you're after, but there is a "check duplicates" command in the edit menu that lets you find and delete multiple copies of elements.

There is also the line consolidation tool that can merge overlapping lines that aren't exact duplicates.

I am assuming by "nested" that you mean overlapping or duplicate.

If by "nested" you mean "grouped" then just use the enable groups button and delete all the grouped lines in one go.
But like Kombibob I think you mean overlapping.
Paopao:

Check Duplicates is a Goodie (not part of the standard installation), so in ArchiCAD go to Help > ArchiCAD 16 Downloads to be taken to a web page where you can download this Goodie.
