      <title>Fireplace mantle niche</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;I've tried both seo-ing out a hole in the fireplace wall and tried empty opening, but still have the problem that although my mantel beam extends into the opening niche it gets cut off. &lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Try taking the bottom of the opening a small distance below the top surface of the mantle.</description>

I had tried moving the mantel up and down and opening up and down.&lt;BR /&gt;
But......&lt;BR /&gt;
Duh on my part.&lt;BR /&gt;
I increased the beam priority and that did it.&lt;BR /&gt;
