Cover Fill Direction/Orientation

Is there a way to change the direction of Cover Fills?
I have tried all three methods with no success.

that's correct.
i am trying to show planks in plan for a deck. however the fill is oriented in the wrong direction.

i tried using the cover fill of the slab. then i tried to draw a normal fill - both using 'link to fill origin'. no dice.

Make sure you are displaying Vectorial hatching, not Bitmap.

View > On-screen View Options > Vectorial Hatching.

Make sure it is indented.

thank you! that did it...

i also noted that without changing the View Setting for Hatching, it does plot in the desired orientation.

No, it won't. It is really just meant as a quick representation of the vectorial hatching. It was originally designed to speed up regeneration times on slower computers. Not sure if it's used so much these days.
