<T>Hmm...It's late and I'm probably having a brain freeze. Can't figure out why some vectorial fills are available in a file--they show in Element Attributes--but are not available in a wall/roof/wall Selection Setting dialog box as a model surface. Doesn't matter if the element is a composite or not. The fills in question are set to be available as Drafting, Cover, and Cut and seem to be identical in set up as others that are available as model surfaces. What am I missing?</T>

If I understand correctly for a Fill to show as a Material you also need to create a new material for it and apply the fill as a "Vectorial Hatch". In addition if you want the fill to be shown in the 3D Window you need to create a texture/bitmap/rasterize for the fill. The easiest way is to save-as the base element of the fill as a jpeg. Alternative is to save it as a PDF open it in Photoshop and edit and convert it to a jpeg there since you will be able to tweak it more.

If nobody's already done it, I'm going to post a wish for better AC Help search capabilities. I should have been able to get the answer in minutes but just flailed about.

When the Help files don't give me an answer in 30 seconds, I just head over to http://archicadstuff.blogspot.com/ <E>😉</E>
