<T>I am not an ArchiCAD user. I have 3 old files in BPN and PLN which I need to open and export to DWG files. Most probably these files were created with ArchiCAD 6 or 7. Anyone can help?</T>

The BPN is a the backup file of the PLN so you might not need to open those.

You can get a student license free at myarchicad.com (30 days demo and then a full year). With this you should be able to open the file.

Saving to DWG is as easy as using the "Save As" command. Look in the Navigator for the "View" of what you need and save it to DWG.

golik:

ArchiCAD 17 can open files from 8.1 and above. You may need a file converter found here:
ArchiCAD File converters
I have just installed the newest version. When trying to open it, it sais: "Cannot read old document version. (5)"
So I need a converter right? Most probably this one "ArchiCAD 7.0 Packages - open files from version 4.1".
