NCS deficiencies?

<T>I’m on the National CAD Standard (NCS) BIM Ad Hoc Task Team. The purpose of the team is to “determine what role the United States National CAD Standard (NCS) should play in the process of Building Information Model (BIM). This team will determine whether deficiencies exist in the NCS that are required by people implementing BIM on projects.” While no one on the team is an ArchiCAD user we wanted to get input from those that are. Over the next year we’ll be developing a section of the next version of NCS that hopefully speaks to this as well as how NCS and NBIMS interconnect. I would greatly appreciate any input you might have.

Thank you,
I also have 2 cents to offer. I've created several standards sets for CAD and BIM, and I've just started contracting with a firm that uses ArchiCAD and a fairly literal NCS standards system. I will follow up!
