Unexpected 3D view of wall in AC22

The attached picture is the view of a simple wall, door and window.
No matter what I have tried : Document>option views; Layers, MVO overrides, the resulting image is similar to a "wireframe look"

Your suggestions and comments to correct this will be appreciated

Have you checked to see if your Wall layer is not set to wireframe? The window is not wireframed?

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I checked the Layers and also the 3D styles.
Cannot find any solid/wireframe settings in the walls, windows or doors dialogues.
The problem seems to originate at the start when I selected a previously created Template to open this new PLN

So just to confirm.
Your 3D style is set to solid.

And your wall layer is set to solid.

And not that it should be either of these but Graphic Overrides are set to "No Overrides' and Renovation Filter is set to "Show All Elements'.

Have you changed the wall material overrides to "glass" or something similar?

If this is coming from a previous version, have you checked the building material settings? I just opened a v21 file in v22 and at least one material didn't come through and was defined as "missing". The v22 version of the same original texture has been redefined and looks completely different.

Yep, that is probably it.
Glass or some other transparent material.
I just tested it.
So it could be a Graphic Override or a Reno Filter that is overriding the materials.

If all else fails: save and reboot the machine. If the problem is gone, shrug and chug along

I keep reminding myself of this once I've been stuck at a weird bug for more than 5 minutes.

I turns out that under the 3D styles "trasnparency" transparency was checked-in.

It is not perfectly clear if that setting is meant to allow for transparencies to be displayed as such, or if it will make things transparent. Now we know

This will only make materials with transparency appear transparent.
So the wall and the door frame must have a materials like glass (or they are being overridden by GO or Reno filter to have a transparent material).
Whereas the window frame does not.

This is because the window does not have a material with transparency.
