<T>i am trying to make a small storage room above the WC for the water heater. How can i separate it from the ground floor? Should i make a different story inbetween the ground floor and first floor? right now its on the ground floor set up in a way that it is not seen on the plan, but the problem is that it is selectable making it really hard to select the ground slab below it. Thats why i thought it should have its own story level.
if my ground is at 0 with height 3000, the storage room would be at 2200 with a height of 800.

i am using archicad 22</T>

You could adjust the Floor Plan Cut Plane settings for the First Floor so that it shows down to an Offset of -800 mm (800 mm down from 3000 mm = 2200 mm). Then the Water Heater room could be visible in the First Floor. You would probably have to set elements in the Water Heater room so First Floor is their Home Story. I think this could work.
