I wondered about ifc type and class and I have understood this :&lt;BR /&gt;
IFC Class are into IFC TYPE&lt;BR /&gt;
IFC type could be IFCsite for example&lt;BR /&gt;
IFC classes could be flower, tree or ground which are into the same IFC type "IFCsite"</description>

I am confused with what is the difference between ifc class and ifc type? How are they linked? Can someone give me an example since i am not expert in the field. &lt;BR /&gt;
