problem: slab and beams' lines don't intersect

valarhi,

i couldn't solve that, used all my weapons still these lines showing, didn't understand. it should be solved.
this line shouldn't show.

checked:
*they are in the same layer both with same number of intersection.
*they are with same material.
*they are not checked with "always show countour line" checkbox.

You are able to do your slab without beam like this :

About slabs only you can check your model view to choose an option to display or hide the dividing line :

it actually was again my problem, u can check from here->https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=70624&p=315790#p315790.
and you can see i am using complex beam profile because of slab don't has "relative hinge option" so it doesn't work for negative angle.
though ARCHICAD team told they will add this option https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=315896#p315896 in the future but i am not in the future for now.
did they add this option to VER.24?

To avoid the inner contour line, you will have to model your main slab to the outer limit and then cut the negative angled base with a morph profile using SEO. (Air space with high priority+plaster). When you get the intended geometry, then you hide the morph edges as wish. Profiled Beams can do this, but you can't hide its edges.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the question! This is an interesting one!

After some brainstorming, with the help of my colleagues, we found a way to eliminate the line in floor plan, without using SEO:

- Set the slab's Outlines to any white pen
- On the floorplan, bring the slab to the front by right-clicking the slab > Display Order > Bring to Front.

I attached a small project file showing what I mean. I hope this is a viable solution if SEO becomes too heavy in your project.

Thanks for the help Minh (And the "Brainstormers"). (( BTW "Minh and the Brainstormers" sounds like a cool rock band name, isn't it?))
Indeed this is a much more simple and effective solution.
Just a small remark: Don't forget to give a thicker lineweight for the white pen, or you will still see the beam edge with "True Line Weight".

Yes. But the thing is that I can't hide the Profiled Beam because it has the side plaster cover. And the Air BM show the edges on 3d, which is not acceptable for a proper documentation. This is why I also created a wish for Hide Building Material Individual Edges on Complex Profiles.

the solution might be covering the area with fill tool though... but extra laboring is contrary to the logic of using programs, programs exist to facilitate the implementation.

Ok... here is another one: Model your main slab to the outer limit > Create a Complex Profile with just the angled plaster for the slab edge (no air BM. This way you avoid the 3d edge line.) > Apply the beam on the slab contour > Do a SEO on the slab with a downward extrusion > Put a background fill on your slab and move your beam to the background. Didn't try, but I am pretty sure it will do the trick.
