Make sure that in the Options\Project Preferences\Legacy Dialog, the "Use legacy intersection and surface methods for model elements"checkbox is unchecked. Then Priority Based Connections will be created between intersecting elements and the intersection will be resolved between the Wall and the Slab.
I would use a Beam to create that beam situation below the Wall you are referring to.

another problem using slabs- can i do someting so that the slab's core will replace the slab's finish under the wall?

Your wall should be standing on the core, not on the finish.
If you have a 50 mm finish you shoud offset your wall at buttom with -50 mm.

Left wall has an offset of -50 mm, right wall has no offset.
