<R>Hi all,

"The following Hotlink Modules are invalid and could not be Updated. Open the Hotlink Module Manager to resolve problems."

I have recently started to get this message with one of my hotlinks. So far I have managed to update it by relinking the module in question to a dummy, then relinking it back in. The only changes that have been made since it was last working are some shift to some slab edges and their associated railings...

Inserting the module in question into a fresh file results in the same issue...

If I repair the host file, it will allow for an initial update of all of the Hotlinks, but will then return the same error on subsequent update attempts...
Why does doing a repair on the host file, allow me to do a single update of a module which it reports as invalid...? What is difference between a post repair module update and a standard operating module update that allows it to ignore the issue?
If I delete all of the Room Modules, the Building Hotlink will update fine. Following that I tried to isolate which Room Module was causing the issue to no avail. As soon as any are included, the Building Hotlink will fail to update. The Room Modules themselves update fine.
Seems like you have been talking to yourself about this for almost a year now.
I would say it is time to put in a call to technical support and maybe have them connect remotely to your machine so they can see the problem.
I think it will be hard for anyone here to help without having access to the files for testing.
I did send the relevant files to Dan at one point but we did not come up with any resolution at that point. Getting tech support is probably a good idea. Only just come back to this section of the project... Have not needed to worry about it recently as it had not been modified in a while and was up to date.
