When you are using the Roof Wizard, RoofMaker places Trimmers only when there is a hole in the Roof. Your Roof probably has no holes so RoofMaker does not know where to place Trimmers so it doesn't place any.
By the way, you can also place Trimmer individually:

<T>Hello, I'm using Archicad 19 4006 version for Mac, and making my roof structure, I realised the trimmers are not appearing when I make a Roof Wizard, and in the settings the option is checked but turned off. do you know what could be happening ?

Thanks!</T>

I have moved this to 'Working in Archicad" which is a more appropriate section of the forum.

What units are you working in?
5.08 seems to be an odd size to me.
If that is 5 feet or 5 meters then that may be the problem.
Inches might be OK but mm will be very small.

Can't test anything at the moment because I don't have Archicad in front of me.

Or maybe the geometry of your roof just doesn't need these trimmers?
