dwt

You could always try the IFC import/export utlity. There are beta versions of IFC 2x add-ons available for both ArchiCAD and ADT 2004.

The ArchiCAD version is available on the GS website at
<S></S>http://www.graphisoft.com/support/ifc/beta_download/<E></E>
and for ADT you should visit
<S></S>http://www.team-solutions.de/<E></E>

The ArchiCAD add-on is available free of charge, but there is a charge for the ADT add-on (€398). I have tested the output from the ADT add-on imported into AC and while there are a few minor issues, the results are pretty good.

from that it's easy to save as a 2000.dwg and into archiCAD...
ADT 2004 supports saving as DWG in different flavours. Weéve had some troubles with this as the list of exporters in our classroom was different when launching AutoCAD with a different set of startup commands...

AutoCAD 2004 Drawing (*.dwg)
AutoCAD 2000/LT2000 Drawing (*.dwg)
AutoCAD Drawing Standards (*.dws)
AutoCAD Drawing Template (*.dwt)
AutoCAD 2004 DXF (*.dxf)
AutoCAD 2000/LT2000 DXF (*.dxf)
AutoCAD R12/LT12 DXF (*.dxf)

2000/LT2000 should be the best format for ArchiCAD.

You need to use the "Export to Autocad" function and not a save as to get the drawings into a 2000 format from 2004.

This gives you several different formats to save into.
