<T>As column is one element and cant use different surface for different side, I created a custom profile.
This profile has one core and 04 finish
But When I create column and assign custom profile to column. Still surface paint cant be use for column surface. All four sides are getting one surface.
How can I do four different surface.
Also If I use custom wall. When applying surface paint to wall end, it is also painting on wall top and bottom.
How can I get rid of this problem.
Actually I need a rectangle column, where two surface is red and two surface is white. and not paint on top and bottom.
I want to use archicad as surface quantity survey.</T>

Unfortunately, you cannot. These are all limitations of the Tools/Surface Painter.
The various tools each have a certain amount of Surfaces you can specify. For example, Walls have 3, one of which is the Edge Surface, and it applies to all Wall edges (top, bottom, start, end). It is not possible to set these edges Surfaces individually.
The only element type where each individual face of the element can be set to a different Surface is the Morph Tool.
