topic Hide walls but show window / door in Modeling

<R>Hi!

We work with projects that have a large portion of prefab concrete walls. I interested in a workflow where we use the structural model in our model instead of copying the walls with native Archicad walls. This is feasable now with hotlinked IFC and graphic overrides. The remaining problem is the walls that contain our doors and windows. I want to hide them without hiding the doors and windows. Is this possible somehow?
I know the workaround with one window sized wall per window.
I tried reversing the intentions in the <S></S>partial structural display<E></E> but it doesn't handle the openings separately.
Any other suggestions/ideas?</R>

There is no way to hide the walls as they are the container for the windows, but you can give them zero height

Thanks for the reply.

It would be a nice feature to have in the future since colloboration with in the same modell gets more and more common,

If you feel this is important you can create a wish for it.
I think it may be a big change in the code but I can see that there are cases when this capability would be useful.
If you make a wish, please post its link in this thread.
