Thank you both for your replies.

I think it had to do with the layer priorities at the end and the main hotlink layer priority. Most intersections seem to actually be resolved. There are still some that are not but most of them look alright.

Thank you!

<T>Hello there!

I couldn't find any topic on this issue so here it is.

We have a building model A hotlinked in another model B and while in the original model A all walls intersect just fine, in model B they don't. Attached are some ss to explain what I mean.

The walls are all composites and I have checked that their structure, layer priorities, materials etc. are all the same.

Any help appreciated!</T>

Could it be that the Layer Intersection Numbers of Layers are different in Project A and Project B?
That could explain when those Walls do not intersect properly.

Thank you for your reply.

I have checked that the Layer Intersection Numbers are the same in both models. Is there any other specific setting for intersections of materials or composite walls?

Not really sure about it's impact...

Might be a bit far off, but still valuable if others read this thread:
I had similar experiences if
• there were two walls exactly overlapping (e.g. you accidentally place two hotlinks in the same place, or there was a wall in the master file already), or
• if for whatever reason the walls are of zero height. Then the intersection can't be properly resolved either.

Pretty sure, OP has already checked for this, but you never know.

Following that, I avoid having <S></S>Hotlinked<E></E> walls intersect end to end, as the few times I have had it, one of the walls would disappear...
