Hello Ling,

We looked into this and it revealed several issues with horizontal and vertical cuts of stair beam ends. For now, you can just use a different geometry (so it wouldn't be cut horizontally), and then make the cut with Solid Element Operations.

<R>Hi all,

I appear to be getting some odd extras generating when I use a Beam structure for my stairs. It only occurs to the bottom of the stair when the support connection type is set to <S></S>Horizontal<E></E> or <S></S>Vertical Connection<E></E>...

On a side note, when I set the lower landing connection type to <S></S>Automatic Cut<E></E> the beam will penetrate through the top of the landing.

Ling.</R>

That is indeed what I have resorted to.
