<T>Hi Guys, Sorry if this has been answered already or the info is out there somewhere, I have done a lot of searching but have been unable to find an answer anywhere.

I have a 2D cad document with the road edges, building outlines and contours of a proposed site. In the past while working with Revit, i have been able to import these into my document and have them display in the 3D view so that I can work in 3D with the roads and surrounding buildings visible.

Following the Archicad tutorials i have imported my .cad document into a worksheet using the attach Xref function. I now want to be able to view this 2d cad document at the base of my design but cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!</T>

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for,
but check out Jared's method of placing
"images" onto a site mesh:
<S></S><LINK_TEXT text="http://www.shoegnome.com/2017/05/19/arc ... es-meshes/">http://www.shoegnome.com/2017/05/19/archicad-site-models-images-meshes/</LINK_TEXT><E></E>
EDIT: You'll have to convert the 2D import as an image in order for this to work.
