Use a white line as the border and you will not see it on your roof plan. That's what I do.

<T>I have had to cut a single roof plane into two different roofs, is there a way where i can hide the join/line between the roofs so it looks like its one plane again?</T>

Select the two roofs.
Right mouse click and choose 'Connect' then 'Merge Elements'.

The joining lines should disappear (so long as the top surface is in the same plane).
If it doesn't then check that you don't have the Legacy option for display of single roof planes set to ON - it needs to be OFF.
