<T>I have the following problem: I am trying to create the plinth of a stair, with a rather simple, but not plainly rectangular profile. I created the horizontal plinth as a wall and the vertical one as a column.
Now I would like to make them intersect, not just have them joined side by side. How do I do that?
Thank you.</T>

Use the Morph Tool instead. Just draw the profile and you will be able to drag that profile along a 3D path with a Pet Palette command of the Morph Tool.
