Trimming Roof Tiles as elements

Hello, I am trying to lay this Spanish tile over the top of my roof. I was wondering how I can quickly trim the tiles so I can place them on oddly shaped objects. Below is an imagine of the tile. I tried to use SEO's but without any luck. I am new to ARCHICAD and I'm stuck.

Any help would be great thanks.

P.S. I'm accustomed to modeling 3D roofs in Bentley Microstation.

Do you have the ACCESSORIES add-on loaded?

If not go to your HELP menu > Downloads and make your way through to the add-ons.
Once you have this loaded you will have a Roof Accessory add-on that works with single plane roofs (not with multi-plane).
This accessory will automatically match the geometry of your roof and will adjust as you alter the roof.
