topic Leica BLK 360 Laser Scanner in Modeling

<T>Is anyone using point clouds in ArchiCAD efficiently? What is your workflow like?

The company is thinking of buying a Leica BLK 360 Scanner. If it works like I think it will it would be a major time saver rather than field measuring buildings with a tape and/or disto.

I can see the advantages if I scan the interior and exterior of the building, combine the scans in a point cloud processing software, import into ArchiCAD, and create my as-built from the point cloud. Then start the renovation and/or addition as usual from there.

Just looking to hear from people that have used point clouds and what their results were.</T>
